Hello everybody this is Melody.
Today I am going to introduce a movie - The Book Thief
Because one of my test this semester is about World War Two, I have to prepare for this story before the test. I ask my older sister which movie is about World War Two, and she said "Maybe you can go to watch it, The Book Thief." This is why I introduce this movie for you guys.
In World War Two, a brave young girl,Liesel Meminger,whom was sent to her new parents' home.At first, she didn't know how to write or read, but her new father, Hans, encouraged her to read .There was a basement in Liesel's new house. Hans let she write the new word when she finished a book. Everybody knows that Nazi killed a lot of Jewess in World War Tow. In the moive, Liesel's family helped a Jew whose name was called Max Vandenburg. Because in World War One, Hans had promised Max's father that he would protected Max . Max was hid in the basement and read the book with Liesel . By Max and Hans, Liesel fell in love with reading. One time, Max got a terrlible fever. Liesel read stories to Max, she thought he would become better in this way. But she didn't has enought stories, so she went to mayor's home and 'borrowed' some book. That is the reason why Liesel was called the book thief in the movie.
I will not tell everyone about the end of the movie,but I will tell you this is a great movie and you must watch.
This is my first time use English to introduse a movie. Hope you can enjoy the movie.
